Lucie Šestáková is the Acting Representative to COREPER I at the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU
She has worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic at the Permanent Representation of the Czech Republic to the EU since 2017.

Prior to this, she worked at the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, as Deputy State Secretary for European Affairs and Director of the EU Economy Policies Department and at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

She graduated from the University of Economics Faculty of International Relations in Prague, having focussed on European Integration.
Ms Šestáková is fluent in Czech, English, French and Spanish.

Gerrit Marx has more than 20 years of experience in roles of increasing importance in different locations around the world and in a variety of industrial segments, with a specific in-depth focus on automotive industries. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (“Diplom Ingenieur”) and an MBA (“Diplom Kaufmann”) from RWTH Aachen University, and a Doctorate in Business Administration from Cologne University. From 1999 to 2007, Mr Marx worked at the global consulting firm McKinsey & Company, focusing on operational improvement programmes in the automotive and aerospace industries in Europe, Brazil, and Japan. He joined Daimler AG in 2007 to head the global controlling function for vehicle and powertrain component projects, as well as market-entry / mergers and acquisitions for three truck brands in North America, Europe, and Asia. This led him to the role of President and Chief Executive Officer at Daimler Trucks China in 2009 and subsequently, President of Skoda China with Volkswagen AG, overseeing imports and joint venture business relations in both roles.
In 2012 Mr Marx joined the European leadership team of Bain Capital as a member of their portfolio group, driving and leading transformational change programs. This role also encompassed due diligence and merger and acquisition activities, with specific focus on automotive and industrial assets, and also included interim roles such as Chief Executive Officer of Wittur Group, a global Tier-1 supplier to the elevator industry. Gerrit Marx joined CNH Industrial in January 2019 as President of Commercial and Specialty Vehicles.
Since the spin-off of Iveco Group from CNH Industrial on 1 January 2022, Mr Marx has served as Chief Executive Officer of the newly formed company.

Anna Müller is the Senior Vice President of Volvo Trucks Europe North & Central and a member of Volvo Trucks Executive Management Team.

She joined the Volvo Group in 2014 and has held senior positions in Volvo Penta and Volvo Trucks. She was appointed Senior Vice President for Europe North & Central in July 2020. The region consists of nine core markets for Volvo Trucks: Austria, Belgium & Luxembourg, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden & Iceland, Germany, The Netherlands, and Switzerland. Europe North & Central is leading the transformation to zero emission vehicles within Volvo Trucks.

Anna has more than 30 years of experience from the automotive industry and has previously held executive roles at Ford Motor Company, Volvo Car Corporation and Saab Automobile.

Anna holds a degree in Administration and Economics, International Business Program from Linköping University, Sweden, and from international studies at Ecole Supérieure de Commerce, Nantes, France.

Jacob holds a double degree in Engineering Physics and Business Administration and has experience from working and living in many countries around the world. Jacob has previously held titles as Marketing and Product Director at Scania Iberica, Sustainability Manager at Scania Commercial Operations and now Head of Sustainable Transport at Scania.

Jörg Schneider has worked for the Deutsche Bahn group since 2013 when he initially joined the Deutsche Bahn Schenker Rail company.

He moved to Deutsche Bahn Cargo in 2015 and has held a number of roles, including as Head of Energy Management before his current role as Head of Climate Protection and Energy.

He holds an engineering degree from the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences.

Folco Ciulli has worked in European Affairs since 2000. He represents Regione Lombardia in Brussels, covering issues on energy, the environment, industry, transport and chemistry.

He is also Executive Director of European Chemical Regions Network and a member of the sherpa group in Automotive Regions Alliance.

He previously taught European Affairs at Masters and MBA level for students at the University of Bocconi, the Cattolica University, ISPI and others.

Nils heads the MAHLE office in Brussels since June 2019, representing the company towards EU institutions, associations, and stakeholders, and covering legislation relevant to the business activities of MAHLE. He also provides strategic advice to and organises outreach activities for the company management.

He has over 12 years of experience working in Brussels on mobility, industry, and environmental policy including leading the transport policy team at public affairs consultancy Weber Shandwick.

Nils has also experience working as a freelance journalist for a regional German newspaper and as a researcher at the Bertelsmann Foundation.

He holds a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Mannheim, Germany.

Sasha Twining is a respected journalist and presenter. She can be heard globally on the BBC World Service, presenting World Business Report, and Business Matters (global audience reach 97million).

Previously she was a TV news anchor on Sky News and was also the London correspondent for the Nine Network (Australia) working on two high-profile daytime/breakfast shows. Her TV work also includes consumer champion show ‘Inside Out’ and the Politics Show for BBC South.

Sasha has also presented for ITV News, BBC News 24i, LBC radio and BBC local radio. In the early 2000’s she was a peak-time continuity announcer on BBC ONE.

Sasha currently works as a conference and debate host/chair, facilitating conversations across a wide range of fields, including sustainability, technology, energy, manufacturing and agriculture. She works for high profile private and public organisations, including the European Commission and the EU Presidency.

Sasha is an advocate of new technology – she has an embedded NFC chip in her hand, and presented a BBC programme about the innovation.
